Re: FS idaho ej20 twin turbo

So i do a core rebuild program with 205 heads, i sell rebuilt heads and take in s20 heads to rebuild for the next person, theres a niche market locally for me as machine shops charge a arm and leg for si...

Re: FS idaho ej20 twin turbo
Yeah, EJ255 heads can only go on EJ25-sized bores. Your planned combo isn't going to work out. Lol the head gasket has plenty of sealing material. Not the first time dudes have told me it womt work. Kinda like the SS with a 205 block thats been at a bar since december and running strong..keep on ha...

Re: FS idaho ej20 twin turbo
This should be an ej20r with wasted spark. Pretty similar to ej20K WRX heads. And much better flowing than ej20h/g. Question. Are those injectors from that engine? If so they are 480cc. Only the ej207's got what we call "550cc" injectors, when talking about foreign stuff. Yes it does not ...

FS idaho ej20 twin turbo
I bough an ej20R i believe, it was the ej20tt twin turbo motor. I just need the shortblock so everything else is up for grabs trying to recoup funds. Ill let everything go dirt cheap just to clear it out. One of the cylinder heads had the turbo deleted on the driver side. Cylinder heads (dohc) had i...

Re: (FS)(ID)2004 WRX motor parts/STI pistons/EJ22t heads
EJ257 STI pistons -100 shipped-make an sti block from an open deck ej205 easily! That's not how that works. Oh man talk about typos, i didnt notice that. You can make an open deck sti block from an ej25. The crankshaft is the same exact, and drop in sti pistons/sti rods or even ej22 rods if you san...

Re: High pitch noise ONLY when idling? video
Did you replace the flywheel pilot bearing with clutch? I would also vote for a timing component though, take off the belt and spin each pulley, if it is bad it will spin freely, you want those pulleys to barely move and be stiff

Re: Code 44- confirmed solenoid good (New Development)!!!
Good fix, but for the future questions it would've been nice for us to know this was an N/A harness converted for Turbo use. Many of us old-timers here know about the differences between the turbo and N/A harnesses and would've been able to point you in the right direction right off the bat. Right ...

Re: 93 Legacy Startup Issues
The battery was tested immediately after having driven it 10 minutes to O'Reilly's, so it definitely was not low due to cranking. I'm quite clear on how a vehicle's starting/charging system works. You should be clear then that an alternator isnt a magic tool that charges instantaneously then, check...
