DONT DRIVE 100 mph IN THE SNOW! i learn the hard way

i was driving on a semi-country road doing 100 up a hill. after i got over the hill i decided to slow down by coasting. but obviously that didnt work, i hydroplaned on the slush and slid through a slow bank at about 90. did a 180 and ended up in a ditch. i was 5 feet from a line of trees. i thought ...

msd fuel pump voltage booster

i was reading a new issue of hot rodding magazine and saw an ad for msd ingition's fuel pump voltage booster. would this be a good investment for our cars. it hooks up to the stock fuel pump and is adjustable from 1.5-22 volts. they say its the economical way to increase fuel pressure, but dont list...

HOLY CRAP! i got a free front mount!

i have a new girlfriend of 3 days. her father works at Valeo, a company that makes radiators, oil coolers, and intercoolers. i was asking about front mounts and he said he'd check up on it. 15 minutes ago my gf called me and told me her dad had gotten me a front mount off of either a mercedes or srt...

i think my turbo died

yesterday i was doing a hard run ( about 120mph) and i started going up a large hill. this meant that my turbo was working its hardest. i was running 15psi and then i lost boost really quick , and went totally down to 0. i pulled over cuz i thought i had blown off a hose. i thoroughly checked my set...

the smaller end fits perfectly over the turbo outlet, and the larger end isnt too much bigger, but enough to squeeze the exaust enlarger piece onto it and the exhaust piece expands to match the intercooler pipe inlet. im not sure about those dimensions, just that it works. i tried to look up the par...

Deadbolt's TD05H-16g legacy version

from http://www.deadboltspeed.com , is that about the right price i should pay for a TD05H-16g? it looks to be perfect for our cars, but i dont know how much people are paying for regular 16g's, not legacy version.

i know that v6 camaros arent z28's. im not stupid. i didnt know you had a TD05H, that changes everything. and the 317whp was what my friend had dynoed with his z28. 250hp sounds about right and that would be able to beat a z28. that one guy with 242whp said he could get a 12.4 with the right launch ...

bad boost reading?

i have a morgie fuel cut defender tee-d in near the pressure exchange solenoid. i also wanted to get a better boost reading, so i tee-d the boost gauge line close to to the intake nipple . i put the boost gauge line on the same line that my morgie fcd is on. where it is connected allows me to read v...

my friend has a 96 z28 and he runs 13's consistently with only an intake and exhaust. those have 317 whp, and if you only have a stock turbo i dont think you'd be making enough hp to beat him. i would believe you if you had a TD05h. maybe it was a six. those have 160 chp then you would beat him that...
