30lbs?!? What is it made out of lead? You might want to weigh it, it should be less than that.

I would have left the badges on, they are kind of rare. They were looking pretty raggity and the Subaru one was basically falling off. I took them off with the intent of re-finishing them. I dunno what I want to do though, probably red background with black lettering. I'll probably body match the s...

Spent a little quality time with my wagon...

Since she's been having some issues, I figured I'd spend some time giving her some TLC. So cosmetics wise, I removed a dealer sticker that was back there, debaged the Subaru and Turbo 4wd, and cleared the tails. Next weekend I'll get rid of the pin stripes and maybe the orange reflectors on the side...

Well I tired but I couldn't find any black connector. I did find one on the other side of the steering column and being stupid, just decided to disconnect it. The CEL went away and the car still runs fine. Any idea what I disconnected? http://img510.imageshack.us/img510/2209/green5qu.jpg http://img5...

Unfortunately I live in the south and Subarus are very few and far between, so finding one in a junkyard is unrealistic.

My car is dying...

So yesterday my car decided to start quitting on me. When it's cold and you try to give it a little gas (and I mean a little), it just shuts off. It seems like whenever it trys to spool maybe. The car doesn't sputter or anything, it just turns off. The first time it happend it took me a few minutes ...

that thing is fucking huge! based on what I've been reading in my "maximum boost" book I think you may only be hitting full boost on that thing at like 5000 rpm. could you elaborate on drivability? My friend had an AVO GT28 in his WRX, it spooled real fast I'd say around stock (stock WRX ...

But...for the wagon. The wagon has a different design; the motor is different, the mast is different (it has a ball at the end of the nylon) so you must take apart the whole assembly, not to mention the bracket is different too. I broke the motor magnets in my wagon trying to repair it. so, guess m...

CEL problems...

So I took my car to a mechanic to get an errant idle looked at, the car had no CELs at the time. They can't find anything wrong and give me the car back. I leave and after driving for a minute the CEL starts flashing. I take the car back and the mechanic says he forgot to reconnect some plugs when h...

The seat in that picture isn't far enough back.. I don't see how you could look out the front windshield with the seats that far back. When I was in high school I used to drive around with the seat so far back I had to look through the steering wheel to see where I was going. Not all the time cuz i...
