I figured it out. I ran the car for a minute and everything was fine then I poured water on the electrical tape for that connection and bam, the problem came back.

The knock sensor was changed just 2 years ago. I took out the scoop pan and I was thinking that water could be getting on some thing. I tapped into the o2 sensor wire for my narrow band and rapped it in electrical tape. Could water fall on it and cause these problems.

I am getting ready to sell my 91 leggy turbo and I have ran into a issue. It seems like when it rains that the car will go through a spell of power loss. The vaccum drops to about 10 inches and when I put down the throtle it sputters. No CEL is on during this but when I shut the car down and come ba...

Yep I took the heat shield off. I also for gat to add that I have a MY 02 TMIC and a set of MY 98 2.5 heads with cams that will go with the car and a lot of little stuff.

Selling my 1991 legacy turbo sedan. It has a Apex-S AFC and turboxs mbc. It has a lot of new stock parts, group N engine and tranny mounts. Has 182,000 on the clock. I have a MY02 TMIC with both inlet elbows but missing hardware and y-hose. I will trade for a steering pump and connecting flex hoses.

The crank pulley have a hard rubber lining meant for slipage. They also get dry rot and break causing squeeking and wiggly. Just plan on buying a new on. You should get a WRX pulley they are lighter and fit fine. A car with that many miles on it is going to need an over haul, but for now I would rep...
