EJ22 rods and pistons, used with EJ25 crank. Its really that simple. Or so my buddy who machined the bearings said. He had very little trouble at all. Just learn from my mistake and make sure the timing isnt 180 degrees off! :) I wouldnt tear down the engine JUST to swap the cranks. Do it when you a...

Even my N/A pack's a lil punch. There is a twisty 3 lane road near here called perth church road. So I am on my way back from a long day at work and am ready for a nice ride home. Weather was ~68F and clear. Time is about 20 mins til dusk. So nice... til a redneck ricer fool in his Corrado G60 start...

Mid-range torque picked up a bit. The biggest improvement was down low. All in all, I probably picked up about 7-12HP. No modification needed, but while I was in there, I had a few things polished. The advantages of having connections at a NASCAR machine shop.

I was told that even the lightwieght stock diameter pulleys may cause vibration in the long run. I dont really believe it. I have a stock diameter pully from Mr. Josh. 1.2 lbs. The pulleys are lighter because they do not have a lot of the material used to balance the stock pulleys. ... or so I was t...

I was toying with the idea of installing the Forced Air Tech stage 1 system on my N/A. Later upgrading to the stage 2 (intercooler). Its only 5-6 psi and the 2.5 guys seem to like em. Why not on my 2.4 right?

Window chalk said 267whp  !! in a miata! No V8 conversion! It would be an autocrossers dream. ...

Tell me you smoked 'em. The only one that I could tell that would give you trouble on a rallyx is that AW-11 MR-2. Lil bastages are quick... and rear wheel drive to boot.

It's pretty awesome that you actually put your legay to good use. :)
