My brother-in-law made a hydrogen reactor and put it in his Explorer. All it is is a pvc tube with two stainless electrodes in it, a cap to pour distilled water and baking soda in, and a tube to run the hydrogen to your intake. You hook up the electrodes to 12 volts, they do the electrolysis thing, ...

Movado makes a bad-assed watch. They have the plain black face if you're looking for something like that. A friend has a titanium cased one and you physically can't scratch it. We tried every type of knife in his kitchen and proved it. Might be a little out of your price range though. Citizen and Se...

I flew to Los Angeles to get my '94. Paid about $2900 IIRC. People thought I was crazy, but the ride back was well worth it. The desert is a great place for a shakedown cruise, unless you happen to break down, of course. I did 130 mph for a half hour straight, only slowing down for turns and the oth...

Yeah, the big dig was quite the boondoggle many thought it would be.

And with the rich roadbuilders, I see you suffer some of the same problems we do. To bad they're union workers or things would actually be more proportionate to the real world.

How is ethanol going to lead us to energy independence? There isn't enough farmland in existance to switch us over from oil to ethanol, so the best it could ever be is a drop in the bucket. Ethanol takes a considerable amount of energy to produce, much more than it takes to refine even oil. Ethanol ...

Boomhauer FTW! How are your roads in Mass? Ours are absolute crap. The DOT doesn't even have the money to half-assed patch the canyons and craters left from winter, let alone fix them. The good 'ol Governor gave all the money set aside from our huge gas taxes to the teachers and schools just so he c...

Honesty is the best policy. I've also combined that with the concept of "shock and awe". I choose not to enter a battle until I can annihaliate my opponent with my first or second salvo. It can be taught. Read Sun Tsu's work and you'll understand how it can be applied to many everyday situ...

I live in The People's Republic of Taxconsin. They're not happy unless we're in the top 5 of every tax. They're tring to tax hospital stays now. Smokes went up a buck a pack on the first of the year too.

My greddy stage 1 clutch was a biatch to get used to. Talk about uber grabbing power. My buddy actually roasted the tires a little when he first tried to get it moving. It finally settled down a little bit, enough to make daily driving not a pain, but I'd really hate to drive anything with a puck se...

If the dimmer switch gets really dirty, crappy, etc... you could go all dim. Spin that sucker lo to high quickly a couple times. It really sounds like a bad connection somewhere though. Have you checked the fuse?

Gut it like a deer! Less weight = go fast.

Oh, and race pads might not be effective if not "bed" in properly. Something to consider.
