I've been waiting for your install report on your CES. I had the same issues you had. Can't remember what I did exactly on the mount that bolts to the transmissioin, maybe elongated the hole and loosened the bolt on the tranny to let it come down as far as it could. After the first test drive I coul...

I am in the process of gathering the parts needed to use the AGX struts. From what I know at this point, I would recommend that these rubber seats be installed where they are referenced. I will be using the Whiteline Control springs for 92-94 Legacy. For the rears, because the top diameter of the re...

Found out from a dealer that the rear spring seats(perch) for the 92-94(?) legacy and the 93-01(?) Imprezza are the same. Number 20373AA200. The fronts have a different part number. Legacy 20323AA100, Imprezza 20223FA000.

I bought the springs from www.pdm-racing.com. On their homepage, click on subaru corner at the upper left, and then scroll down to the chart for springs. I bought the Legacy Sedan RS Turbo for 92-94's, #'s 70198 and 70369. The 70369 has less of a taper to them than stock struts that are in 91's, I a...

AGX into 91SS

I have done the searches, read the many different posts, ordered parts or have them in hand and believe I will be ready to install the KYB AGX struts into my 91 Sports Sedan. I would like you to review this list and tell me if it looks OK for fitment. Struts--AGX 734006, 734007,733010, and 733011. T...

Pitch Rod Stopper

Do you think a Group N STi Pitch Rod Stopper will fit on a 1991 Legacy Sport Sedan 5 M/T to replace the Legacy stock piece? I already installed the STi group N motor mounts and transmission mount and they fit just fine. The STi group N pitch rod stopper has already been ordered. I did do a search, b...

Having the disengagement point near the floor might be fine for some, but it was not right for me. Mile-hi(posts on this site) mentioned that the fix is a longer rod for the slave cylinder. Clutch saga continued

The installer told me it was an ACT pressure plate and a Exedy clutch disc. Says it is an EJ25. The end of the fork has a little depression where the pin sticking out of the slave cylinder mates to push on the fork to disengage the clutch. The friction point is way down on the floor.

more info

Found out that the pressure plate is an ACT and the clutch disc is Exedy and is EJ25. The clutch is hydraulic operated, not cable. I mistakenly thought it was WRX. The friction point is way down near the floor and is not satisfactory.

I removed a tranny mount crossmember and used a cutting blade and modified it to make room for the CES pipe. There is 3/8" clearance now. Solved vibration problem the pipe was making.

Exedy EJ25 clutch in a 91ss, a problem?

I had an Exedy EJ25 clutch installed on my 91SS. I have to push the clutch pedal hard to the floor before the clutch disengages to allow the gear to be shifted. I do not feel this is right. I have had to move my seat forward in order to get enough travel and force to push the pedal all the way in. T...
