Re: STi legacy
which mishimoto rad are you using ? and does it fit perfect i keep getting these leaky rads from koyo and mishimoto its a universal fit radiator, required lots of modification to make it work but its about 3" narrower to accommodate fitting between the intercooler pipes http://i66.photobucket....

So did you do a crazy harness merge and keep the stock dash? yes indeed. The harness was merged with a STi harness, runs an 04 STi ecu and an accessport and i also managed to sneak in a JDM STi gauge cluster http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h280/turbolegacyjake/989d26fd.jpg You live too close to a...

Nice strut brace. How did you get the strut covers to fit on top of that brace? When I tried to do that the bolts weren't long enough to hold them in place once the brace was installed. there is just enough threads to keep them in place but they do wiggle around a bit. mmmm, reverse manny.. Like. F...

Re: Funny snow wrecks with 1 Legacy
funny you should post that, my mom just showed me this video last week. my uncle lives on the 500 block just up from where that was filmed at. There was a similar storm last year when i was in Utah for a funeral and my 02 leggy wouldn't make it up the hill to my uncles house (doesn't help his house ...

^^^ Man, that's hot. I wish I had the resources (money for new parts, welding / fabrication equipment) to go with a reverse manifold FMIC setup. Your car looks like it's got a lot of nice parts. Do you have a build journal? thanks :) I've been gathering parts for a looooong time lol. i do not have ...

actually that is a turbo josh. Thats an auto transmission, and the 1991 turbos didnt get the a/c line with that weird bend in it by the turbo. look on the strut tower and you'll see the lines for the boost control solenoid

Re: What did you do to your Subie today?
i guess you could also have a short angled piece of intercooler piping welded on bingo, there will be a piece of pipe welded to the throttle body itself and the coupler for the actual removable pipe will be 8 inches or so pre throttle body. heres a pic test fitting my bros throttle body setup which...

Re: Oil cooler for SS 91
The "2004 WRX oil cooler" he pictured would work, they might look different but they use the same block design therefore the cooler sits in the same place and gets the coolant in and out of the cooler in the exact same places. the 06+ wrx and 08+ STi run a slightly different cooler that ki...

What was the problem with the fitment? they bolt up and function the same way, you just have to re-plumb the coolant lines to meet up to the WRX cooler
