Those car's have piston slap so most likely normal could also be the valves need to be adjusted!
Is it a 2.2 or 2.5? If it's 2.5 id be concerned if the headgaskets have been done because there bound to go!

wow that's messed! Your in Canada too I just noticed! If the accident wasn't your fault the person who hit you should be covering your car. I recently got into a serious wreck to if you saw the pics. I should mention I had no collision as well!

ya true have you tried another sensor? When things are hot and cold the resistance could change. Did rob have any feedback?

Car runs nice it looks like! But the cel are you sure it is not just telling you there is a cel? I had something similar and the wire for the knock sensor was shorting to the grounded shielding. Did you run a new wire? Or just simply splice? It's really easy for the grounded shield to make contact.

Sounds like the valves were probably bent and running it overheated the valves causing them to seize?

Well what I did was seafoam it really good, then replace the spark plugs, air filter, pcv, check all hoses reset ecu.

You know I was a firm believer in seafoam too, but upon inspection of my motor it didn't clean anything there was still a noticeable amount of carbon on the top of the piston, and valves. make sure you push the clutch fork towards cabin to clip in the bearing before pushing the clutch pedal.
