Nico is right about the injectors, I've personally hit 22psi with no detonation on stock injectors. I'm also running with the line pulled off the wastegate for quite a while, and again no detonation. thats stock injectors and stock turbo right? try doing 22psi and see if it doesn't blow up on a TD0...

so your running stock injectors too NICO, just quit now before you make yourself look like an idiot, take it to a dyno and get some real world figures.......

theres no way you would even do 12's without engine management NICO, low 13's maybe, unless you are running 20+psi boost and slamming all your gearchanges and doing 1.7 60fters.

sorry NICO, a wrx turbo running 18psi will not give you 350HP, even a VF22 turbo would not be able to do that. put it on a dyno or run it down the quarter to back up your claims before saying stuff that could be potentailly embarrassing.

NICO if you had 350hp @ wheels you would be doing 11's. with the right launch I will do a mid 12 easy.

guarantee you only spin the front right if you are steering forward as the front diff is always a open diff on subaru's as it makes it easier to steer, the centre diff is a viscous unit as described earlier and the rear is a LSD unit also (australian models anyway) I have seen white smoke from my ty...

what turbo do you run NICO? and have you been down the 1/4?

if you have a 3.9 rear diff you don't have a 1.1 stepper. the front diff is a 3.9 too.

doubt it NICO, you would need some serious mods to get that much. I have put down 242HP on the rollers.

sorry, all legacies/liberties are 60/40 split, thats why they have a 3.9 front diff, 1.1 centre stepper and a 3.545 rear diff (3.545 x 1.1 = 3.9), check the sticker on your rear diff if you don't beleive me, I have a 50/50 drivetrain now, because I swapped in a JDM 5MT tranny with 4.111 ratios front...

check all of your hoses, including intake piping, if there is no cracks or hoses blown off, check your plugs and coils.

thats exactly why it makes it impossible to dyno our cars on a 2wd dyno!

we just call the open air element filter a POD filter over here, its alot quicker to say

boostjunkie's car IIRC still has the airbox with a K&N panel filter, and we believe that car to be in the 250-whp range. So yes air intakes can be good when done right, but don't knock the airbox! Engineers didn't go to all that school for nothing! engineers also design things to be more quiet ...
