Legacy777, what we are talking about here is putting ej25 heads on an ej22 engine. if you do that, then the Compression ratio will go down. you were referring to ej22 heads on a ej25 engine.....C/R goes up. FrmRgz2Rchz, you don't need ej25 heads cams to do the upgrade. just crank and rods. your comp...

no, it is not just as simple as that. you need to make sure you get a phase 1 2.5 crank. then, get phase 1 2.5 rods and have custom pistons made. cause, you might be able to use the factory ej22 pistons, but i am not sure. i think you would need new ones. just putting in crank and rods and keeping t...

He is actually running 23psi daily but had taken it up to 30psi (not sustained though as mentioned above). so, down here close to sea level it is about 20psi. oh, and his motor is not completely stock but close to it. new heads, rods, pistons. like he said, tuning is the key to...

morgie, will this thing just plug right into our ecu? no splicing? oh and you said, every 900 rpms fuel tuning, wouldn't it be every 750 rpms. 0-6500 rpm minus ~500 idle equals approx. 6000. 6000/8 = 750. anyway, i am looking forward to seeing what happens. hopefully your ecu won't catch fire!
