I have never run a ej22t block simply because I always got the 2.5 pistons for cheap....

Piston was in PERFECT condition.

Yeah, probably knock started the crack... Then massive boost continoually made it worse till it failed.

On some of the newer mounts, there is a "bump stud" locator thingy. It needs to be cut/ground off as our older crossmembers do not have a locator hole for it.

At PIR again tonight, this time I brought the family out. Swapped back to the 205/55/16 crap tires.... Pull a 12.55 @ 117.69 with a 2.1 60'... poop... Wife wants to leave. C'mon, watch one more please? I nail it... Its flipping perfect. Then the #4 (I am betting) cylinder wall splits in 4th gear.......

EASIEST AND CHEAPEST is to replace the thermostat with OEM part.

Ehh, I am not sure what is wrong with block/head gasket. It runs just fine, but coolent is being pushed somehow....

Yep, I always thought it was lower, maybe 6750, but last night at the track, I managed to hit the rev limiter in 4th two or three times.... 7000 rpm it is!

Gonna have to change my tire diameter for the coming season....

Dynoed as well, lower boost, and made 375/375.

dynoed 375/375 then turned the boost up at the track and pulled a 12.5 @ 117......

The only way I think I could get it is if I am allowed to dyno in 4th. 3rd gear only hits 21 psi, 4th hits 25psi.....
