Josh, Its been almost two years since I posted on this topic and thought it was the actuator motor so I got a new one and installed it. It worked for about a minute then the buttons didn't work again! So obviously it had to be something else and then I found your post on the HVAC control unit with t...

Actually I give the engine a power blast at the car wash every 3-4 months and it cleans up real nice, and I am amazed how the everything shines up in the engine compartment and no signs of rust to boot! On the leather seat backs.. yes.. they were fried when I bought the car but brought it to a trim ...

Nope, needles still light up the original orange color.. just didn't show in the photo.. In the future though, I plan on replacing the needle bulbs with red led's once I get the info on what I need and how to do it.. But for now,
the needles show up pretty good on the indiglo backround.

Let me tell you though.. it was no cakewalk! But none the less.. they look great and I'm very pleased with the outcome. http:/...

Hey guy, you have helped me tremendously. I just came back from a frame and alignment shop today for what I thought was a major repair job realigning the front suspension. I took the car to PepBoys for an alignment last weekend after the strut changeover and they couldn't line the front end up.. The...

Yea, I think its just something that needs cleaning.. I did the pushing several buttons routine to get it to work for awhile and finally it just wouldn't do the trick anymore. So I had to dig deeper. Its probably something that needs a little cleaning and lube. Hopefully a 10 minute fix.

Same problem for me too. So I dug out the service manual and found out that its a motor driven vent door that is sticking. I did a temporary fix that has worked great for me. First, start your car and push the A/C button in. Then, under the console behind the stereo on the drivers side is the heater...

I just got finished myself with looking for non lowering springs for my 91 Legacy Sedan and found that it was near impossible to find regular springs in the aftermarket sector. All that is out there to my knowledge are the aftermarket lowering springs and Whiteline are the only ones that make the lo...

My Soob has an attitude problem...

Just got finished the other day doing surgery on my Legacy and all went pretty well. Got the GR2's on, new brake pads, rotors, and removed all of the calipers, cleaned them up and painted them a cool blue.. also painted the vented edge and around the hub section of the rotors with bright aluminum co...

Hey Josh - Thanks much for all your help...After searching around for the 91 Legacy stock springs, I finally think I found a solution. I called the parts counter at a local dealer (Ft Worth TX) and the guys there suggested I used springs for the Legacy L instead of the LS. He seems to think that the...

Actually my car is a sedan.. I guess I never mentioned it.. oops! Anyway, I just added that on my signature. In all honesty, I am not really trying to lower the car with lowering springs.. I am pretty much just intersted in stock. I just called 1stSubaruParts and they ran a check on the stock rear s...

I've been doing some thinking this weekend on the spring replacement.. If I could find a less expensive pair of the fatter springs and get new top mounts, would I still be able to use the GR2 struts that I ordered for my 91? I was thinking about getting a newer set of low mileage springs from an Imp...

Thanks for your help guys.. Makes sense to replace top mounts too while I got things apart. I have a question on the ID measurements for the springs.. I just tried to measure the bottom of the rear spring by placing the end of the ruler in the center of the strut body to the outer edge of the bottom...
