You mean a blockage in the pressue going to the clutch? I don't see how that would happen. They feed through a pipe about 8mm in diameter. Inside the trans should be spotless. how would the clutches slipping make awd turn on? its when they lock, that awd is activated. an increase in pressure makes awd happen. even with the links that you just posted, seem to indicate that. and MPT is multi plate transfer clutch, which are the clutches you are referring to...which is what ...

An increase in pressure results in the activation of AWD. Just so we're on the same page here. Agree? Then, if no pressure at all, no AWD at all. Agree? Thanks for the input. Cardboard in the front helps the car warm up faster, and helps keep it at operating temps on the highway in the cold - no effect at idle. With the thermostat - engine temp should then fluctuate with the heat temp - but mine isn't. It only takes a few hundred RPM to get the hea...

clearning/checking abs light
can someone please point me in the right direction? 91 ss 4eat with the nippon abs unit
all i can see under the dash is two black connections and two green connections, and one white one far up with a sort of cap/insert covering it.
is it one of these? where is the L terminal?

not sure if this applies to you, but there is some info about speed sensors, it says that if the readings are the same there is a problem with one of the sensors.
