Re: 1994 JDM Legacy Wagon GT 2.0T Question

I'm having a similar "immobilizer" issue regarding a 1993 JDM wagon that I have. The car has a key with a built in remote, like the op described, and the car will just crank and crank but never start. There is also now power to the window switches at first, but if left alone for a few hour...

Once you guys get the intercooler and td04 installed, do you just plumb the stock boost control solenoid to the td04? Will this keep the boost level the same until I can get a fuel cut defender and up the boost?

My friend actually got a clutch reservoir off a 92ish Eclipse at a junkyard that had an offset to it, and we trimmed an inch off and it fit/worked great. But the idea of plumbing it from the brake reservoir is pretty cool.

Are the GR2 Impreza GC struts the same as the Legacy awd struts? Someone told me the part number is the same, and you just use the Legacy springs and top hats...

I agree with you that it's pointless if you're not going to up the boost, I'm just a n00b at doing so. Would you just bolt the VF11 actuator to the td04 and plumb a MBC in line? I am just unsure how it works as far as the stock injectors keeping up with more air coming in, and whether or not it woul...

I will try and give you a short version of what the guys are trying to say: but i WOULD recommend reading up a bit more before you start modding. The TD04 is a slightly larger turbo than the VF-11 that is on the USDM legacy turbo. The pressure reading or PSI as you put it is set according to the wa...

Pissed off because it took 2 weeks to get the right part and about an hour and a half of struggling to get this bitch back together again. man when u guys said this thing was a...

well, it's using the JDM hatch, so I'm assuming they drilled out the spot welds on the old roof and welded the JDM roof in it's place.

nope. I mean it is a perfectly legal postal wagon that was swapped with parts from a nearly identical JDM wagon. ;-)

The wheels are Prodrive P1's in 17x7 and the tires are 215/45/17. I like the RS wheels too, but I'm just trying to see what you guys thought. I'm not a total n00b to Subarus, just the Legacy . :( I've had a 93 rhd ej20g swapped Legacy wagon for a while, and I just picked a 93 ss that will be my wint...

Thanks for the replies. Changing the rear top hats isn't a big deal, but I'd rather not roll the fenders.

Why would the back still sit at stock height while the front gets lowered?

Suspension swap and clearance issues

I have a complete set of 2003 WRX struts with Eibach springs. They are still fully assembled and currently have WRX tophats on them. My first question is, will these fit on my AWD 93 Legacy? If not, what do I have to change to make them fit? I read the sticky and it says to change the spring perches...
