bought a impreza yesterday....

i was up messing around with an engine i posted about rebuilding in another forum, and decided to take a look and see if it had a diamond pack. it did, the motor was pulled out of a 90 legacy station wagon....so i guess ill replace my cheapy on my LSi today with that one.

i bet it is that switch, i hit it when i got my first legacy, while cleaning, and unhooked the battery for the next week or so to stop the lights from killing the battery, then a friend hit the switch and laughed at me...check that switch!

for the doors, i had a few legacys come my way with the same prob...i sand blasted the rusty parts, sprayed some under coating on the inside of the holes (providing the rust has eaten through) then use tiger hair fiberglass on the edges to restore some of the strength...then have a reputable shop sp...

legacy777- i have almost a complete interior-blue-if needed also...the beat up one was taken away by a junk remover-can you believe allstate gave me $800 smackers for that car after i got swiped

nope i traded a old 200mmx computer for that one...it had 240k on it, and ran still with 268k when i got rid of it....poor car..had a good life...minus the rust...

i had a turbo..once...lets not talk about the damage done to it, but i did have one...:roll: anyway, i stripped it out after the roll... the tranny is indeed different than a regular 5mt...the front calipers are dual pot piston calipers...regular na 2.2l scoob'y come with single pot calipers...and 1...
