Looking good as usual. I think that exhaust is fine, who cares if it's cut and modified? Yeah the pillar gauge looks really modern but it sticks out. It isn't matched to the rest of the interior and the gauges don't match. I mean that old VDO gauge is cool though. I guess it doesn't matter though, t...

You will make more power with stock 2.5 DOHC heads than you would with the SOHC EJ22T heads and cams. That might not be true after some porting but that's not an apples to apples comparison then. Basically I've heard it put that if you fully port out the EJ22T heads they flow like the stock EJ20G he...

lol nope it is an Ontario License plate. blue letters with white background. My name is Massimo Narini, my borhter is Nick and my dad is Phil, all of us race in the Canadian rally championship. I've only been to SCCA/Rally America rallies so I haven't seen you guys out yet. I've been thinking about...

I'm digging the paint scheme on the 777 car. That's sweet! Is that a Minnesota license plate I spy? I'm originally from there and heading back eventually with my 91 Legacy Rally car. I still have to work out the license though because I don't have one and they are probably going to make me run witho...

I think most people go with Piggybacks because our ECU already has all the right stuff to control a turbo engine. You see all the WRX guys going with reflashes but we can't do that. I've heard a lot of bad things about Perfect Power 6, problems with bucking and hesitation and also it doesn't drive i...

I'm still confused about this plate. Is this the plate that is like a spacer so that your throttle body linkage clears the manifold because you have the EJ20H manifold and the TB is flipped? I have the same manifold dude and all I did was shave the throttle body linkage down with an angle grinder an...

Those numbers are wheel horsepower. You can look up dyno charts on Nasioc just type in like '16g dyno'. Yeah you will get a wide variety of results but you have to know how to interpret the results. Just because someone gets 180 WHP on 11 pounds of boost and stock exhaust doesn't mean that's what yo...

You're not going to make more than 400 HP with a TD05H-20G, although they say it's good for 440. With the EvoIII 16g or Zilla 16G you won't make more than 350 although most people can hit 300. 350 would be pretty hard but to get but you can do it. The HP number on the TD05H-20G comes from Blouch: ht...

I'm interested in hearing more about the AEM F/IC. I decided to ditch the PP6 in favor or E-Manage Ultimate. I read about PP6 having a lot of problems with our OBD1 ECU's and causing bucking problems especially. Also the fuel resolution is bad because it just adjusts the load on the MAF and doesn't ...

Just thought I would give this thread an update. It now works with the new code using the 36-2-2-2 wheel which is on all the new Subaru's and can be swapped onto a Legacy. Apparently it works much better and has more resolution than using the 6/7 wheel or a 4-1 wheel. http://www.msextra.com/viewtopi...

Wow so I was looking at getting the PP6 but after reading about people's experiences I don't know. Anybody else have input? I haven't heard anything bad about Greddy E-manage yet. Apexi SAFC just modified the MAF signal and doesn't really do much for timing or anything else. There's the PowerFC but ...

Look on the turbo, there should be a vacuum line on the outlet side and then it should run to the wastegate actuator. If there is a manual boost control if will be on that line. I wasn't aware PP6 was also an electronic boost controller. I don't know for the throttle body. I'm not even sure what the...

I would look for a JDM engine importer. You can get the complete longblock or even whole front clip shipped to you on a pallet. Just do a google search there's a ton of these importers and you can check their inventory online and even get pictures of the merchandise. I'll just say that from my EJ20G...
