FS: '05 USDM STi front seats
Have a set of front seats from an '05 STi. Good condition, no tears, burns or rips. They are dusty/dirty from sitting in my storage unit but would clean up real nice. No rails as I never got them with but I modified my old school Subaru seats rails to bolt onto these seats (I do '80s era stuff). Loo...

FS: New Koyo EJ22T auto radiator
I have a brand new Koyo OEM replacement radiator for an automatic '91-'94 Legacy with an EJ22T. Has a few bent fins, no fans and has the upper/lower steel tie bars. Never had coolant put through it. Looking for $100 and hoping for a local sale but may end up shipping if need be. I can deliver to the...

Re: Best Way To Fix Crooked Steering Wheel
I've had customers that have not been happy with Speedware as well but I am a local Subaru alignment specialist. I work for an independent Subaru shop in Kirkland and offer alignments as well. I've aligned over 2000 NASIOC member's cars and a few dozen cars from USMB and Legacy GT. Steering wheel sh...

Re: I now own a JDM Legacy B4 RSK
Didn't they have to be made to pass emissions? I know back then there were businesses that would federalize non-US market cars (like Ferrari BB512s, for example) by adding, often badly, emissions equipment. Funny you should mention a BB512. I worked at a bodyshop in Redmond that had a BB512 in ther...

Re: Crank no start in swap
The whole harness was checked out by a friend of mine that strips and swaps EJs into EAs all the time. Has done multiple swaps too. We checked all the powers and grounds to make sure everything was good to roll. The fuel pump doesn't come on at all. I can use my Power Probe and get it to kick on but...

Re: Crank no start in swap
I have started this car before without a cluster in it when I first built it. It was a FWD auto car with a NA engine. The original engine was toast so I did an AWD 5-speed conversion on it and dropped the engine in when I was still wiring up the cluster and it ran fine. But I think you're right. I n...

Crank no start in swap
Its been awhile since I've gotten on here to seek out some help. I've been working on (slowly) doing a swap into my RX and ran into a major issue that might abandon all hope on the car. Car with specs: 1987 Subaru RX coupe 1993 Legacy SS EJ22T engine 1998 Impreza 5mt 3.9 tranny 1991 Legacy SS 3.9VLS...

wtb: ej22t ecu
I'm in need of an ecu from a legacy SS. My harness came from a 92 auto ej22t. I believe my ecu is fried as it is not grounding the fuel pump relay like it should. Everything else in the harness checks out.

Need some exploded views (PCV system)
I'm in need of a dealer exploded view of the F-pipe area since I'm in need of some of those parts but unsure of what all I need. I know I need the F-pipe but need the pieces that connect it to the breather on the engine. Got part numbers, just need the exploded view. Thanks guys!

If any of them Forester EJ dual range transmissions ever made it to North America (as part of a swap or something) they *might* be cheap because nothing here uses them. Rear gear = rear diff. If you change the transmission ratio you need to change the rear gears also is what I was refering to. Ah, ...

Ya, didn't work. Bought a rad $250. I might as well anyway, the plastic tanks on the side might be clogged with the stop leak crap. Is that possible anyway??? Just hopefully the tanks will be metal instead of plastic. It is very possible that the stop leak is clogging up the cooling system. My advi...

Thanks for the replies guys, this is going to be an awesome build once I get it going. I work two jobs so having the time to sit down and continue on the project has been kinda slim for me, until I get it towed to my new house and parked in the garage, then its on. RallyX? Ehhh, not so much. I'm pla...

The EA82t is probably the least reliable subaru motor ever made. they definitely tried too hard with it. That said, it's still better than most motors out there. as for upgrades. well, it's on the same platform as my loyale..... http://www.numbchuxconversions.com/Files/Media/Frankenwagon/PICT3397.J...

The EA82Ts have major headgasket issues and if overheated, will crack the water passage that runs through the head, into the exhaust port. I'm currently swapping an EJ22T into my '87 RX for A) reliability and B) more upgradable parts. I would also recommend doing the 5-lug conversion as well. I have...

EJ20G question. Difference in years/models?
So I think I found a motor, actually my friend has it torn down to nothing in his shop collecting dust. I looked at it the other night and its a EJ20, almost positive its a "G" motor from what he tells me but its closed deck. I thought the G blocks were either open or semi open decks or am...
