Talk about bummed... I'm supposed to be helping a guy install a new steering rack in his '95LX and also...

Biggest issue is that modifying/deleting your catalytic converter or discharging AC to atmosphere is illegal ($10,000 fine for each I believe). putting petrol in your car or using plastic bags isn't...

Digging up a bit of an older thread here but I'm about to embark down the MS road for my EJ22 build up that's going into my '82 Brat. I'm going to build a website to detail my build experience as well as collate all the info I've dug up on MS as it relates to Subaru's If any one is currently running...

Does your vehicle have cruise control?
My old Chevy pickup used to make a hiss when I'd press the brake and it wound up being a cracked vacuum switch housing on the cruise control system. The switch was up in the pedal box area and actuated when you pressed the brake to disengage the cruise control.

WTB - ECU & wiring

I'm on the hunt for an ECU and wiring to make my '94 EJ22 donor engine work. What are they worth (used) and anyone got one they're wanting to sell?
Cheers!!

USDM vs. JDM/Aussie Spec

OK, this may have been covered, I did a search but might have used the wrong search string. Anyway, from a moderately reputable source (OK, it was Wikipedia... not so reputable) I see reference to the 'EJ22E'which is Aussie spec'd at 135hp, the US engine from '94 was 101hp from the factory. It's my ...

hehehe, yeah, got a thing or two figured out about what direction I'm going... Biggest hurdle is that I don't intend using the factory ECU. I'm looking into dumping a Megasquirt system into it! I work for a company that does a lot of custom fabrication so I've got access to waterjets, polishing equi...

Currently I'm running the 4spd S/R trans in the Brat. Got over 200k miles on her with the original engine/trans combo. It'll sit at about 3000rpm in 4th at 65mph... I've got a swap lined up for a 5spd d/r out of an RX turbo Sedan that's running 27" TSL swampers... Gearing's not quite right for ...

G'day!

Hey there,
Just wanted to introduce myself. Been into the Subies for a few years now, got an '82 Brat and my wife drives a '00 Outback with the 5 speed.
Anyways, I've just picked up an EJ22 that I'm planning on shovelling into the Brat. I'll be digging around here for more info on the engines etc.! :P
