Just a quick piece of advice if you're getting a rebuild. MAKE SURE THEY GIVE YOU A WARRANTY. I had my old SS 4eat rebuilt by aamco, at a hefty price I might add, six months later it was dead again(destroyed front diff). Finally took some engine pics after WRX IC install, it actually fits pretty well... Other crap I did: removed coolant tank, see filler cap on upper hose. (Thanks for the direction vrg3). Mad JDM black Greddy type s. A/C removed completely, 300zx TT fuel filter, cheap little cone filter, ground wires...

The only reason why Subarus have stock top mounts is that there is a perfect place for it due to the shape of the motor. Most all other stock turbo'ed cars use side-mounts or front mounts.
