The ones I posted? Or the Magnaflow ones?
The other ones are built for the Dual Port EJ22's and EJ25's on the 2nd Gen Legacy. Our cat placement is different then the first gens.
I was wondering what could be done. She wants sound and no EL headers.

Re: Header Fitment questions
Yeah, it's for a 92. Has anyone had this done and know the rough cost to have the shop install the headers and redo the piping to make them work?

Header Fitment questions
I have seen a few threads about Header fitment and how a shop will have to weld up a new pipe for the cat section. What options are there for headers?
If I took these into a shop would they be able to make them work?

Dome Light issue
My dome light works when I set it to the on position. But when any of the doors are open (when the dome light is set in the auto position) it doesn't work.
What do I need to look for. Is there a fuse or something? Thanks

98 Struts/Springs on 92 LS
My friends back left strut is blown and I can't find any good WRX suspension setups cheap locally (I got all my stuff for $150). I found somebody selling 98 Legacy Wagon struts/springs for cheap. I just need a replacement for the stock stuff. Would this setup work? Also I read that the car may not h...

Re: WRX Momo wheel
So it would be possible just to remove the air bag light and never plug the charge in. But that wouldn't be very safe.

Doesn't seem like its possible without not having an Airbag. Guess this is one of the ONLY non plug and play things.

WRX Momo wheel
Is the WRX momo wheel a bolt on affair for the first gen legacy? I have a friend who plans on buying a first gen and is looking at parts.
I know WRX front and rear seats fit.

Engine Head Rebuild Parts List?
Hey there, I have stopped by this site quite a few times. I was told about this site by Douglas Vincent "Reddevil" He is rather busy and haven't been able to get a hold of him. I am going to rebuild my EJ22 on my 96 Legacy L. I was going to have the heads rebuilt was curious of a parts lis...

Re: ej22 head removal (driver's side)
If it broke, its probably cross-threaded. Extracting the bolt will only be the first step. I think your easiest and least-costly option would be to replace the head with a good used one (which requires removal of the timing belt and covers and replacement of the head gasket). Try Doug. He is in Por...

Re: Replacing HLA's
What would you say the pricing on all of this is? About the engine flush I decided to pass on it because I what you had said 93forestpearl, they advise against it. I bought the car with 143k on it and it's at 158k. I don't know how it was maintained before that. Oil change was just done a few weeks ...

Re: Replacing HLA's
My first course of action would be to run engine flush through the motor first and then change oil as normal. You want to first rule out any obstruction or reduced flow before replacing parts. The HLA's are a very simple mechanism and are not likely to wear out,I have ones with over 200k and my motor...

Replacing HLA's
I have a ticking noise coming from both sides of the block. Drivers side is much louder. I believe the passenger side just sounds normal. I remember seeing somewhere there was a guide on how to replace the HLA's. I am a person that can't have a lot of down time on the car so I check to make sure I a...
