Re: ej20g coil on plug (cop) conversion
Reason was that i have sometimes misfires at a low rpm range around 1200 - 1500 rpm. That was unfortunately not solved by making this swap. Anyway, one reason was that the (ebay) supply of the old coil packs gets somewhat rare to get by, so its a good idea to get the new age coil packs as they are m...

Re: ej20g coil on plug (cop) conversion
The last days i finished the project with the coils. So here is what i've done: http://abload.de/thumb/cimg0488s3sfv.jpg Left Hand side: http://abload.de/thumb/cimg0489u6s4a.jpg As you see i built a small bracket to put the coils on, was a really easy thing to do. Then i bought a set of spark plug c...

Re: ej20g coil on plug (cop) conversion
I think i have WRX coil packs. The length is very similar holding them together.
Well just try yourself putting them into the holes - They wont fit because they hit the valve covers with the corners.

ej20g coil on plug (cop) conversion
Hi there. So i bought WRX/STI coil on plug coilpacks to convert my old style two bolt pattern coils. The thing that concernes me is the grinding of the coils to fit in the hole. So id like to ask if someone did this conversion to an ej20g and got pics of the grinded coil packs with the drilled holes...

Re: BG5 GTB Bilstein suspension
Ok, so my route to go would be to use the rebuilt bilsteins with the springs and tophats from my now installed oem suspension, right?

BG5 GTB Bilstein suspension
Im wondering if the bilsteins from a bg5 legacy will be a good upgrade for a bf legacy. Im thinking about to get the bilstein struts and some lowering springs suitable for my bf legacy. What im wondering is that i didnt find any information regarding this topic on the popular legacy sites/forums. Is...

Re: Brake upgrade recommendation 94 legacy wagon w/ 15" whee
Hey Josh, you said a SVX MC from a non-ABS model is a good upgrade.
What about the ABS version? Are they the same as the legacy ones?

Re: Stop the lifters ticking
We are talking about the same thing, right? About the ticking lifters.
I dont mean the general engine noise.

Re: Stop the lifters ticking
Its from 1993 with 135000 km on it. And yes, its an ej20g.
And no, it wasnt the oil level, because i check it first before getting active solving this by adding additives ^^

Stop the lifters ticking
Hi there. The last months my Leggy started to make me really upset with the lifters ticking all the time in my cruise rpm range (1500 - 3000 rpm). At higher rpms it was more likely that the ticking goes away. After searching the net forever i found a ceramic additive that goes into the engine oil af...

Do STI Coils fit Plug and Play on EJ20G?
Hi there. Because i have light misfires at low rpms i thought its about time to change the ignition coils on my EUDM 1993 2.0 DOHC Turbo Legacy. As i have seen on the forums its a good idea to get other coil packs fittet than the original (two bolt) ones, i looked a bit around ebay and found STI coi...

Re: Fuel cut due to broken BCS?
Are you sure about the connections? I looked, and my first info on that was crap. Its connected in that manner: Top: Compressor side. Side: Intake resonator Bottom: Wastegate Ill give it a try and connect it the way you mentioned. What do you mean with two port? Two ports for tubes or two ports in t...

Re: Fuel cut due to broken BCS?
Yes it has three ports and i think i got them at the right places. I think bottom to turbo pressure side, right to intake side and top to wastegate. When i turn the key, there is no check engine light. Ill check the bulbs. Yes the dealer did hook it up, but he said theres everything ok. I wasnt ther...

Fuel cut due to broken BCS?
Hi there. Recently we were checking compression on my legacy turbo bjf (1993). After that the car didnt run like it is supposed to. When i got boost at around 3000 rpm it began to stutter and at full boost around 4000 i got fuel cuts. Brought the car to my dealer, he said the wastegate control duty ...

Will Impreza GC Front Bumpers fit SS Legacys?
Hi there.
I think this is the best place to ask this:
Will front bumpers from a GC impreza fit a 1994 Legacy (Turbo) SS?
My one is broken a bit and i've seen photos showing some legacys with impreza front bumpers.
Will they fit out of the box?
What is there to modify if not?
