Re: speedometer gone out
Alright, Becuase I noticed that my exhaust seems to be popping a lot more than usual (straight pipe) and I thought that it might be because of possibly over fueling?

I havent gotten the chance to pull the code from the ECU yet but from my understanding it is my vehicle speed sensor? I have replaced part of my cable already, cant remember which half, I...

Something else that might look sweet is getting the inside powder coated or something so just the lip is polished.Apex3 wrote:Yea I probably will, wasn't sure what I wanted to do about them, don't work at all the way they are now.

Re: Spotted Thread
Also saw a white post facelift wagon going north on i5 in washington with an exhaust and a turbo badge, non turbo front end but it looked like it may have been in an accident so he just putt those on. the exhaust note sounded nice though.

NA oil catch can help
I've noticed that I get oil in and around my intake a little bit and was reading online about people with NA 2.5s having good luck with oil catch cans and was wondering how exactly I would mount one to my car. I have been doing some research and think I understand exactly how it would mount but it w...

Re: 1993 wagon coilover question.
No they wouldnt fit in the back so I was forced to drill out the holes a little bit and run a washer on top so I still get a good mating surface. But I like it. car is really stiff and handles pretty good now.

Re: looking at new engine (some concerns)
no all I did was compression test mine. and I had the valve covers off the new motor and everything looked good. and I already planned on replacing the timing belt and water pump but where are the oil seals? and thanks for the good idea about priming it!

looking at new engine (some concerns)
I went to this place in Gaston OR to look at a used ej22 motor with 90,000 miles. It was apparent that it has been sitting for a while but it was sitting in a metal container with all the holes plugged in it. But when he was doing a leak down test on the motor for us he had to break the valves loose...

No, I dont have one ill try and get one up eventually though. It's pretty loud but I like the sound of it. And, I'm on raceland coilovers. I need to roll my fenders still. might go a tad lower after I do that.sqc151 wrote:sound clip off exhaust?

I'm not sure what my wheels are by the way. Picked them up off craigslist with nice tires for a good deal. I think they are some kind of American Racing wheel though.
