Dumb q time: 1 or 2 trans mounts?
The title says it all. Do we just have 1 transmission mount in the legacy ss 5mt or 2? Had a mechanic tell me yesterday that both my motor mounts were still fine (recent group n replacements) but both my transmission mounts were shot. I keep thinking there is only one mount... This one, right? http:...

Re: Frost and condensation on the inside?
Right, no sunroof. Oh, the defroster does take care of it eventually... but all the while I have frost condensing into water drops on the inside of my windshield, then running down and dripping onto the dash. Then if I don't wipe the interior side of the windshield up before leaving, I have water dr...

Re: Frost and condensation on the inside?
OH! That makes much more sense; I wonder what's holding moisture inside the car? Once I get half a chance to pull it into the garage and check it out I'll post my findings. Thanks for the quick replies!!

Frost and condensation on the inside?
So, my fiancee's 93 L wagon gets frosted and foggy on the inside of the windows and windshield overnight when its cold. My other Leggys only get frosted or foggy on the exterior. Is this indicative of a leak? Kinda confused about how to troubleshoot this one. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapa...

Oh snap that's normal? Not an indication I need to get in there and spray some wd40 or something down the cable innards...?
Cool, thanks Josh!

Good list except for one crucial component... intercooler.
Edit: td04 optional. Stock vf11 is capable of 16psi.

Cant confirm for sure but sure seems to make sense to me based on my experiences. That injector has not been changed or serviced since then and my narrowband af meter always reads rich during wot pulls now. Not saying you are wrong but I know if someone raised this issue as a potential flag for safe...

Re: Td04 upgrade
The stock 2.2T fuel pump actually is more powerful than a USDM STI fuel pump. Now if you were NA and going turbo, then yes, definite upgrade the fuel pump. Otherwise if you are just doing a TD04, you are probably fine on the fuel pump. Walbro 255lph aftermarket fuel pump =/= STI fuel pump I'm gonna...

Re: Td04 upgrade
Tune? No. These upgrades are within adjustment limits of the stock ecu. Ease? Turbo swap will be more work than tmic install, although you are more likely to have issues getting the tmic to fit and plumbed in if you dont have exactly what you need up front. Advice: soak all exhaust / turbine - side ...

Re: Adjust / maintain e-brake?
Hmm...got any PB blaster or wd40 even? That stuff can help a lot getting bolts and nuts unstuck...spray thread and between nuts, let soak in for 5 mins, tap with a rubber mallet, try wrenches again.
Other than that yeah im out of helpful comments lol

Re: Adjust / maintain e-brake?
Thanks for the photo! I would imagine that you'll need 2 wrenches, one for each nut...so you can hold one while turning the other. I believe in this case, you would hold the bottom nut still while trying to loosen the top nut. Although I've not yet done any of this. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 usi...

Oh that looks great! I want to do this!
I think I should have a look in there anyway at some point, when its below freezing my speedo jitters a bit and makes a strained mechanical whirring sound above 35mph or so.

Re: Adjust / maintain e-brake?
Thanks guys! Good stuff! I may be starting to understand what's going on back there but I do believe I might need info on more of a basic level at this point: Am I seeing correctly in your photos Josh? Do we have drum e-brakes? That is certainly new territory for me, I'll have to learn more before a...
