I have the DW300. It's noticeably quieter than the Walbro I had before, that thing made an awful squealing noise.

Soak with PB Blaster, tap on the breaker bar handle with a mallet, wait a while, and repeat with increasing force.

Yes. I used one meant for a 1998 2.5RS, so any DOHC from that era should be fine.kdshroyer wrote: a ej25 dohc timing belt kit will work for the early style ej20g.

If you use the older 6/7 setup, you will indeed need the Dual VR Daughterboard for the cam signal. The Zeal Engineering one works, and has additional features to use as you please.

Thanks for the link, great ad. That BC looks black in some shots, but Indigo Blue Pearl in others. That has got to be one of the rarest colors.

75W140 seems to slow down shifting, I don't like it. It's more annoying when warm than cold. But you have issues with 75W90, it's time for experiments.
