Performance and Stock Parts Garage Sale
Unfortunately fate saw it right to end my Legacy SS which has left me a with a pile of parts that are either spares or never made it onto the car. Everything must go. I am planning to list the PFC, VF8, Injectors on NASOIC, but I wanted to give you guys a first shot at them. I'll put a tag next to t...

Re: GD WRX ACT ProLite Flywheel and Exedy OEM Clutch kit
You get it. I have gotten stuck in traffic plenty with this flywheel, still loving it. Feels stock. Very easy to drive in all conditions. I maintain that 9.6lbs should have been around the factory flywheel weight. If you can't deal with it cut up your license and burn it. This mod combined with the...

Feeler 91 Leg SS For Sale
I'm ready to leave Subaru land. I built my car to fight with traffic to get around town and have fun on the twisties in the SF Bay Area. It was absolutely great at both but now I live in Phoenix with the grid system and no twisties so its a solution in search of a problem. It bums me out because thi...

Re: GD WRX ACT ProLite Flywheel and Exedy OEM Clutch kit
I also have the exedy stage 1 clutch with the streetlight flywheel, The reason you get fast decel with this flywheel is because it still has the mass to cause engine braking when off the throttle, this is actually ideal for track applications ins some instances especially in turbo cars where in boo...

Re: FHI 4/2 Pots + Carbotech AX6 Pads
So years later I am still runing these pads. Couple of notes. Single stage master cylinder booster combined with FHI 4/2 pots is a wonderful mod. Add in a grimspeed MC brace for an even more solid pedal. Having brakes with this much bite, that are this easy to modulate opens up a ton of potential in...

Re: GD WRX ACT ProLite Flywheel and Exedy OEM Clutch kit
Three months later and I stand by my statement that this should have come stock. I have done every kind of driving including getting stuck in traffic for hours. For this driver, the changes have only been positive. The clutch pedal is just easier to work with. I highly recommend this to anybody that...

GD WRX ACT ProLite Flywheel and Exedy OEM Clutch kit
Whoo Hooo, got my car back together so time to give back. The final straw on my car was when the throw out bearing disintegrated. I put it up on jackstands and decided to do some fun things to it. One of those things was installing an ACT ProLite Flywheel (9.6lbs) and Exedy WRX clutch and pressure p...

So,
TurnInConcepts took my money in January. Had a ton of unexplained delays in shipping these things, lots of e-mails went back and forth asking what was going on with my order. Then come May I find out they never put me on the order list and refunded me.
Awesome company.

Re: Replacing driveshafts with an eye toward GD wide swap
The GD STI subframe gives the suspension a different roll center. I read that the revised roll center is designed to work with the wider track in the rear. As the GD WRX Sedans have the GC narrower track and the 'normal' crossmember. Really good suspension is all about synchronicity. If they were wi...

Re: Bolts for WRX Flywheel/Clutch into SS
I ended up ordering both from subarugenuineparts. The SS bolts were only ~$3 for all 8.
When I do the job I'll post up any differences between the bolts.
Thanks for the help guys!

Re: FHI 4/2 Pots + Carbotech AX6 Pads
I put these same pads on an FD3s I used to own. Same amazingness. My friend that bought the car likes these pads with stock calipers better than the standard StopTech ST40 kit + 929 larger MC he put on his other FD. I'm sure the factory equipment wont dump heat like the BBK, but man these are some s...

Bolts for WRX Flywheel/Clutch into SS
Hey guys, I am installing an ACT Prolite for a 02-05 WRX with an Exedy OEM WRX clutch kit. I see that the WRX bolts (P/N 800610740) are 10X24.5X17 I see that the SS bolts (P/N 800210660) are 10X27.5x20 What I think I am seeing here is that SS bolts have a different thread pitch, so I have to use the...

Re: This should be interesting. Ordered a set of HVT Coilove
Those would be them
They are meant for a GD. So I am also getting HVT camber plates to give me adjustability and regain the camber I would loose.
Half the cost would be the Whiteline Com C mounts.

TIC convinced me to get a set of these over AGXs and H&R springs.
I'll report back once I have them on.

Re: Replacing driveshafts with an eye toward GD wide swap
Did more homework and got my answer (it's funny how that works). This post from rs25 sums up the cluster F http://www.rs25.com/forums/f128/3000186-post7.html Basically the front is easy. But the rear is a mess, further complicated by axle fitment and compatible diff ratios. If you want to do this th...
