Actually, electronics really isn't too much of an issue. Snip the AT identifier wire going to the ECU, rewire up the back up lights & shift interlock feature with the clutch button.

That should be it.....may not......not sure if that would take care of cruise control as well.

Ok, Do this. Go to a parking lot, turn the wheel all the way to the left, slowly drive around in circles. Do the same thing with the wheel all the way to the right. See if the car feels like it is "binding" or lurching. Now do the same things with a fuse in the FWD fuse holder. If your pro...

Unless you're driving in tall long grass......the heat shields really don't matter.....there is shielding on the car body for the real hot places like the cat converter....but that's mainly it.

Not sure I follow. So after the engine is off....the car moves? When do you release your foot from the brake pedal? Before or after you shut off the car? The car will move slightly with just the car in park......but it shouldn't lurch, or feel like it's wanting to move. Try some different combos of ...

2 & 3 are the engine & transmission volumes.

1 is intro
4 is susp & brakes
5 is body & chassis stuff (I think)
6 is electrical

They're probably reprinting due to the massive amounts of errors and in-consistancies in them. What year manuals did you pick up?

Talking about all the messages from the predesessor to this group.

The BC-BF legacyworks group on yahoo http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/BC-BFLegacyWorks/

There is 11250 messages according to yahoo.

Not the most easy task of categorizing and sorting for archival purposes.

What a daunting task.....

I've started goin through the BC-BF List, trying to sort things. It is absolutely insane how many messages there are. I was going to sift through what is relavent & non-relavent......which I'm doing slightly......but I'm mainly concentrating on just organizing certain threads and such. If anyone...

I think one of the problems with the MBC's are that you take the MAP sensor out of the loop.....or so I think...correct me if wrong. The ECU uses the MAP sensor not only to enforce boost limit, but also adjust other sensors, fuel, timing, etc. So with the MBC in there, the ECU can't adjust things pr...

If I ever get around to sorting through the old bc-bf list stuff.....I can point you to where two guys tried swappin hoods and that's what they found out....the 92-94 is just slightly shorter & different shape. The cars I don't think were changed as far as wheel base is concerned though.

My intake theory/design

The two key factors I was sorta thinking about, which would essentually steer the rest of the design, would be sucking cool air from the fender & utilizing some form of velocity stack right before the MAF. Probably the one to model after would be Cobb's intake http://imprezars.com/images/cobbtun...

you can't swap hoods, grill, lights from a 92-94 to a 90-91.....the hood is shorter for one....and there are other issues. There are different grills available for the 90-91 models. I have one that is not honeycomb. It has horizontal slats. Check out my site....I've got tons of pictures on there. If...
