that's normal the air intake for the vents is located at the base of the wipers
unless you add a scoop to catch the moving air it will be warm from the engine

Re: HVAC: blows warm air on cold setting
most a/c problems are leaks or faulty electronics, sounds like you have most of the bases covered.
Does the compressor run in the a/c on position? Yes/No
How was the system serviced when recharged? details are important for this answer
This could be a bad pressure switch or dryer cannister.

Ever had fuse 14 blow?
I just had fuse 14 blow in the RS-RA Only problem before this was the IAC, but it was working ok after cleaning just 5 days ago. Put in a new fuse 14 10A and cannot read the codes. New fuse didn't blow yet and the car was running, revving pretty high like before the IAC was cleaned. Hoping the ecu i...

Re: PLEASE Help!!
only issues with fitment are top mounts if you have tapered springs.
all the GC rear setups are the same as BC/BJ Legacys only the top mounts changed from year to year
the GC springs will lower the car about 1" so will the GD springs

with the correct top mounts the springs will fit
downpipe will fit too just take note that the top O2 sensor might not have a bung

I use the atf-acetone too, heat first then spray and while its still hot 36" breaker bar 1/2" drive.
Even the 1/2" impact gun cannot get those off if they are rusty.

I'll check my stock pretty sure I have a new one for my RS-RA. You can have the one on the car now its in great shape. New ones are going to be very hard to find and expensive.
I'm waiting on an order ej22t elbows. I'll bet I'm getting the last ones as they are now on backorder.

Re: Tailgate ???
if you have a sedan you can work with that panel if your car is a 92-94
if you have a wagon you can't alter that panel much its mostly one piece
that panel has a few small studs that hold it on and the mounting plate for the liftgate handle also holds part of it

door switches need to have clean grounds on the mounting screws at the door jam to work properly
often times you will find the rubber stopper missing on the door or the switch rubber covers get damages and jam the switch
