need part number for this pipe
its an F shaped plastic tube with a flared end that. One part of the F goes to the PCV vavle and the other goes to the Boot B (pipe just before the turbo).
its for the ej22T out of a 92 turbo.
if you have the part number it would be great.
thanks

hey Opie, did you have to remove the intake manifold to get to the part? from looking at how everything sits in there it looks like i should just leave my intake manifold off untill i get my part.
does the new one slide on very easy? or should i lube it up first?
the intake on the ej22T is the only thing that i dont like. Parts from it are always breaking.

if its anything like the n/a version, and i dont doubt it since it's in the same place you should be able to do it with the intake on

did i need to order the rubber hose for the bottom as well as the F shaped part?
I only ordered the F shaped plastic plug because i didnt see a rubber hose that connected to my crank case. I will take a few pics of the parts that i removed.

well when trying to remove the rest of the busted part i broke the entire bottom part.
i will just have to wait till i get the new part. if i have to order the other i will just go to the dealer.
and i only have one more week to get my car running before i head off for a new college.

just thought of something. I could get a little breather and run it from the crank case to it via some tubing. Then just cap the PCV and Boot B intake portion. This way i could get my car running again and not have to wait for the other part. Later on i could always go back and return it to stock.

had another idea. ( i do all my thinking at night when i try to go to sleep, and well i dont sleep very well)
I could get some hose from the parts store and use it to connect the crank case to the F shaped plastic part.
do you think this would work? i would rather do this then anything else.

yes
Just make sure you try and seal up everything as good as possible, or you'll be sucking debris in there. You also might have some idling probs if its not sealed well.

I didn't remove anything but the other intake plumbing (the rubber and plastic intake bits leading to the turbo) to install mine. Your probably gonna have to replace the small rubber hose at ther bottom of the F part as well, it gets just as brittle as the F pipe!subiekid wrote:hey Opie, did you have to remove the intake manifold to get to the part? from looking at how everything sits in there it looks like i should just leave my intake manifold off untill i get my part.

Getting that little rubber peice off is harder than putting it back on!! I used some long needle nose pliers to get the clamps off and then grabbed the hose with them and pulled it right off. I then installed the new hose on the F pipe and installed the 2 clamps where they should go (away from the car). Then I lubed the inside of the rubber hose with motor oil, went to the car and popped it right on.
Hope this helps!
I know what you mean about parts breaking! Damn stuff close to the turbo gets so brittle...I think I've replaced all but 2 hoses over there!

hahaha, the pcv system has got to be the weakest point of these cars, the plastic and hoses crap just break.
