New custom intake elbow

Post by logan9691 »

I made a custom intake elbow (the piece with the PCV and recirc ports on it) out of a 90* piece of aluminum piping so I could run my new APS BOV, and here is how it turned out.

Nice man. looks good. I need to re-do my intake elbow and all my hoses.. its not nearly as well put together as yours.

You should post a vid of how that bov sounds. I want to run something pretty much like yours.

This is the quietest BOV I ever heard, its 100% recirc right now and you can barely hear it.

Really? hmm. i am running a plastic wrx recirc BPV and you can hear it make a blow off noise, its not very loud but you can hear it. I want something a little louder though. Just not one of those annoying chirpy sounding ones.

Awesome, thanks :D

One more question. I'm working on making one myself and I was wondering about the Hose with the Plastic Rod on it that goes into the 90 degree, the one that looks like it 'captures' the air. Did you reuse that Plastic Rod or just attach the Hose?

Are you talking about the PCV line that runs into the elbow or the IAC port on the APEXI intake.

I reused the plastic piping with the 90* on and I got rid of the other plastic piece and just hooked it up directly to elbow.
