antennas

Post by lucas »

any way to change the motorized antenna to a screw on type antenna? Ass clown at my local car wash didn't put down my antenna before running my car. Folded it completely over. Motorized antenna hasn't worked in years anyway.

I'm happy my TW doesn't. Fixed mast FTW.

Mine has duel antennas, one I use only in the winter (fixed on the roof) one in the summer ( power on the quarter).

screw on type is just better. I guess you could argue less weight too but the electric one doesn't weigh much to begin with.

Hmm.....maybe they changed things later on or maybe the wagons didn't get them.

All TW had motorized antennas as well. James614's must have been swapped out at some point.
Easy way to tell: All manual antenna Subarus have the antenna above the driver's side window on the roof. All power antenna Subarus have the antenna on the driver's side rear quarter panel. (Applies until '99 for Legacys)
