Pictures aren't that good sorry haha. Well i'm from New Zealand and I've posted before back when i had a 1995 Twin Turbo GT but the engine ended up dying and i didn't have the funds to keep it :( so i finally got another Subaru and i want to get more power out of this car but don't know what i need to upgrade.

I'm eventually going to get a wrx engine as a local mechanic said the legacys are the weakest?

You guys got any ideas?

Not many of us know much about the twin turbo engines. I know one member has one... most people swap to a WRX engine not because its stronger, but because its much easier to work on and modify.
93 Touring Wagon (EJ20G 5spd Swap) -- Finally back and running strong as ever!

05 Outback 2.5XT 5spd -- Now the wife can have her SUV and get in on the turbo Legacy goodness at the same time.

93? That looks like a 95 or 94 over in new zealand I think.

I see why they would haha I should of put a photo of the engine bay up :L . They're a nightmare to much vacuums (sorry bad spelling) everywhere I even broke one the other day -.-. Oh really ? It says 93 on the registration paper but they could of just mixed it up. I thought 93 still would of been the more rectangle ones?

We didn't get the twin turbo here but I've heard its slow. I would convert to a single turbo setup from and sti or wrx.

You can check the name plate in the door jamb for the build date. It may have been built in 93, but is probably a 94 model year.

Well, they are in the 250hp range, so not bad, but they pull hard right up to redline, my old one pulled pretty even to an 08 wrx from a roll. I loved mine, it would pin the speedo without even breathing hard, but around town in traffic it was kinda laggy.

The short block is the same as an ej20g, so most just single turbo swap for simplicity.
