Yeah but it's not. It fixed a few things. But there's still issues and now it revs at like 1300 rpm after I stop at a light then slowly alms down to way low like under 600 some times.

Just had my ridiculous weld job on my downpipe/exhaust fixed at a good shop. Boost/acceleration is nice and smooth now. Swapped out my crumpled/rusty driver side fender. Pulled the stock metal piece off under the hood scoop in prep for the TD04 swap and intercooler mount. Somewhere in there I will change out my passenger fender and desnorkus in the next few weeks!

No spacers, just swapped rear top hats and dust boots. Washers are needed somewhere in the rear to stop a clunking noise, I don't know where they go through

Sloooooowwwwllly picking away at this coil on plug conversion. Had to stop so I could order a crimper and crimp connectors to do things the right way and I realized I needed a pair of connectors so I can disconnect this new harness if I pull the engine. Maybe next week...or the week after.

I also painted my radiator top bracket/cover. All the paint was rusting away and now it looks decent. I'll update the build journal when it's done and do a quick write-up on how to convert to GD WRX coil on plugs with EJ20G ECU.

Sounds like good progress Kimo. What crimper setup did you order?

I just ordered a few new tools to help me get my timing belt change over done easier.

Here's what I've got...

I'm going to have to pick up some new timing covers. the plastic cracked on a couple of the back side nut inserts. I've got some donors at the house, so hopefully I can piece together a full set.

I'd like those tools too. Bought one like the bottom tool at harbor fright but haven't used it yet. Here's the crimped I got. We'll see i it's any good.

That looks like a pretty complete kit. The reason I ask is because one time I was working on the Legacy, I had to de-pin a harness and insert them into a new plastic plug. I was lucky and was able to use all the pin ends. The original plug was smashed beyond recognition though. I was thinking at the time that it would be nice to have the same style crimp ends to fit the factory plugs if I ever had to do it again. Is there a specific crimp that fits in our Subaru harness plugs? I know it was different between the 94 and the 91 harnesses I was working on.

I'm also looking at getting a nutsert / rivet nut gun kit. I'm currently researching what I need and where to buy the best bang for the buck kit. I'll be using them for attaching some side skirts and some fender flares. I don't want to use rivets, in case I want to remove them for cleaning or replacement.

If you figure out which pins are the right ones for the ecu harness or Nh other plug on the car let us know. And where to get them. I couldn't find them. So I'm going to just cut some wires and crimp on new wires.

Before and After from some upgrades. New fender. Paint on trim/grill. PlastiDip wheels. Not sure about the white but they will be dirty soon enough.
