yea shes an 87 sport coupe (very low key, black with no iroc or z28 body kits) with the 305 but shes been sitting for a year because the engines toast and i cant seem to come up with the 2300 for the engine i want. im too busy spending my money on my ranger, the 92 turbo legacy and unfortunately on my gf's taurus... its been a sad day but ive contemplated selling my baby a couple times. luckily i havent done anything rash yet.

Don't ditch the American muscle if you've already got it.

I'd still have my 1971 302 Ranchero had an idiot reading his mail at the wheel not rear-ended me and total it. :(

I'm only 27, but I remember back in high school when 350s and 400s were everywhere for dirt cheap and V8 Camaros, Cutlass, etc. were under $900 for excellent ones or $300 for junk that could still haul a$$ (like this old Nova a friend had). Ah, the days before rice...

I killed a Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V this past Monday.

I was heading north on I-95 from I-495 when this guy comes right onto my ass. Now I had actually seen him on the 495 so I don't know if he was following me or what. He had a front grill and bumper that made it look like the front of a Skyline R33. He had an exhaust, big wheels, custome paint, ect.. Pretty nice ride really. Anyways he is right on my ass as I go to take my exit onto 198 E. and as it splits into 2 lanes he pulls beside me and nails it. I hesitated for a moment which allowed him to get about 2 car lengths ahead before I dropped into 4th at about 60 mph and hit it. I started pulling on him hard, ( while my car's bucking from hitting fuel cut too  ) passed him, accelerated to about 110 leaving him easily 15 car lengths behind. I go ahead and start slowing down as the lanes merge back into a single lane before merging with 198 and he goes ahead and blows by me on the shoulder almost crashing as he enters traffic  I don't know what he was thinking. So as we come to the first red light he starts weaving wildly through traffic almost as if he was trying to get away from me or something. As I came up to the light he forced his way in front of another vehicle to get as far away from me as possible. It was pretty funny really.

Once again, Subarina has put the fear into their soul  .

Admitting defeat is soooooo hard for people.

My favorite kill was a Civic hatch that had been racing a Prelude for several lights. I finally got up beside him, and while the rednecks in the truck to my left were pondering my statement about "piece of cake", i confirmed with the Civic driver that it was a go.

Granted, 2.2 Preludes in the dry are pretty quick, and he'd been holding his own, but it was my night. At 45, i had 1/2 a car length on him and a huge smile. The guys in the truck were probably either laughing or silent.

Man, got my ass handed to me today. Was on the freeway, in the far right hand lane, accord's trying to merge, it's primer black, the back bumper's falling off, punkass guy driving it, he's trying to get over, guns it, i step on the gas, and hear his VTEC kick in. As soon as that pops in, he starts to pull again, after my auto shifted, he was a car length ahead, and i had to slow down. :(

You cant have them though
You said "Yup. stock steelies are hardcore" so in order to stay hardcore you are stuck with 14 inch.
