well i finally found a set of 2004 BBS rims, 17x7.5 5x100 et53 forged. i started paintting them rim on the left is ready to piant and right side rim is done.

tires i have 215/45/17 P Zero Nero's. i might go down in size becuse under hard corners i get a little rubbing on the rear wheel well's.

NICO, huge props on the old accordion shifter boot. I got sooooooo much shit for it several years ago, and I said pffft. It just fits and blends with the rest of a 1st gen interior, I like it.

Keep on keepin on.

first step, i cleaned them really really good. i used de grease and acid, then i used a scuff pad and scuffed like a mad man the hole rim in and out. the scuff pad is a brown pad that body shops use.

after i did all that i washed them up & let them dry for a couple days, then i spray painted away. i did it in winter so i left them in the garage under heater then when dry a bit i put them in the house to bake in the sun room.

summer is way better to paint rims leave them in the heat and it works amazing.

they should last a long time, the last time i had my rims sprayed in a real piant booth and they turned out the same. my dad has done a million rims like this and after 5years they still look brand new.
