I love me a FMIC! I just wish my little turbo could use one... Lets see some pics of the huge a$$ turbos pushing air through those beasts.

^^^ Man, that's hot. I wish I had the resources (money for new parts, welding / fabrication equipment) to go with a reverse manifold FMIC setup. Your car looks like it's got a lot of nice parts. Do you have a build journal?

yes indeed, its running off of a 2004 STi ecu with an accessport. the downside to avcs heads is cams are more expensive which is why i went with stock STi cams.

nice man.... i think ill try the 25d heads and see what happens. if doesnt work out and make the power i want, ill step up to the avcs heads and run the wires needed to the hydra. You have a built block in that thing?

Hey Mikey, i've been meaning to ask you, with the 25d heads on the stock block before garret turbo and standalone, how was the off boost power with the lower compression? I've had a set of 25d heads sitting around for awhile now but haven't put them on cuz i fear that low compression. I was waiting for winter to tear it apart and was gonna rebuild the block with the higher comp wisecos but really don't want to spend all that money on rebuilding it. My goal for my wagon is not crazy power, don't have the money with a family to support but i do like some fun. My goal is 25d heads, td05, 550s, robtune or maybe adaptronics and some other bolt ons. A big part of not going crazy is the tranny options, the only reliable options are sti swap or straight cuts to handle more power and both are too much for me.

I've actually considered going rwd and it is still definately a possibility. I could probably get the w58 super cheap too since i work at a salvage yard. Is anyone making and selling the adapter plate yet?

Finally got around to reading the huge thread Bill had on the bellhousing project he did. Since, you actually installed it though, other than swapping bellhousings what else has to be done? Anything have to be done with the driveline to match up and what about shifter linkage? I found a w58 today at work, 50 bucks. I may grab it but wanted to see what else i would need to do first.

Thanks! My biggest issue was that I didn't want to have to relocate the battery to the trunk, that wire is expensive!! I went through four cutting disks on my angle grinder and 3 sawzall blades for the whole thing haha.
