as some of you may know ive got a jdm 90 legacy gt thats bone stock
lately ive had the intercooler light in the cluster coming on and off, its that just the fluid level warning light?
mines full to the brim so im not sure why the light is coming on
also does the pump run with key power? when i fire the car up with the cooler cap off the water doesn't move, is my pump dead or does it only come on when its warmer?
thanks for the help!

check the pump,
if it helps the only info i have is when on/driving the pump will be @ 28w power, once throttle is past 80% the pump speed goes higher using 50w

Re: anyone running a complete factor awic set up?
pump should be in the left (jdm passenger) side fender well right?
Re: anyone running a complete factor awic set up?
The pump should be running at a lower speed with the key in the ON position. If the throttle is depressed more than 80% then the pump will be running on "full speed". The pump is controlled from the ECU, so the pump may be bad or it may be a relay, dropping resistor, or something else. I'm pretty sure the sensor in the intercooler and tied to the dash is a temp sensor.
Yes the pump is located on the left side under the battery.
