EJ22T head parts ID

Post by OddBallRacing »

So, I'm doing the 'ole "EJ22T heads onto the EJ18 block and turbo it trick."

There is something bolted to the back of the passenger side head that is NOT on my EH18 head, as well as a hole in the head below the mystery item in question.

Any insight?

Thanks!

Hint: your turbo will need oil and coolant.

OIC so, the top port where my screwdriver is is the port that feeds oil to the turbo and the bottom port of the same mystery item is the coolant feed to the turbo?

The mystery hole is the oil return from the turbo and I'm guessing then that the coolant from the turbo goes to the coolant tank eh?

Thanks!
