Mine doesnt idle like this either, or it only does that once and a great while if its cold. The only time my car consistenly does that is

1. I get gas and after i turn the car back on from fueling it goes all katywompis for 30-40 seconds then smooths out. (in conjunction with check engine light which is IACV code)

2. After I turn off the A/C or the defrost.

3. Or just randomly after long trips.

Its very strange and the way it goes away is i just drive over 20 mph for at least 100ft and im good.
