2009 WRX airbox on 1st gen legacy, anyone tried it?

Post by WRXish »

Hi guys, yet another question that might have been asked already but it just occured to me tonight that the old factory WRX airbox might work really well on a normally aspirated ej 25d. Anyone actually tried this yet or would I be the first? Inquiring minds want to know.

Do you have any pictures of that airbox for those that aren't familiar with it?

After looking at the shape of the box, where it has to go in the car and where the air inlet and outlet are, it would be a difficult adaptation. Of course if you have a turbo 1st gen legacy, you might could make it work.
