Josh answered himself with: I know whiteline makes that forward facing one, but I really don't like it. I also found this thread that shows that an STi GC bar will fit the car, but don't have confirmation on whether it'll clear the AWIC (it probably will)

Adam West wrote Josh, except for the uprights that bar looks like a Cusco they sell for Legacies at Rallitek http://www.rallitek.com/cufrstbr.html -
Does anybody have any part number clues? Rallitek website has about 40 bars
An earlier related post by Ultrasonic answering LegacyT on Mon Apr 26, 2004 says: Looking for Whiteline STB for GC, to use on BC, I find part number KSB599 for the "forward facing" to clear larger STi intercooler
Check it out here--> http://www.pdm-racing.com/products/subaru_corner.html
But the link is now broken
Does anyone have knowledge of an actual successful installation solution proof of the original question.... a brace that fits without interfering with hood closure, cramming against the firewall or intercooler, or anything needing grinding or sledgehammering or other alteration please ?
