Post by jimkelly1964 »

i am starting to tackle the binding. i am removing exhaust and then drive shaft, so i can replace duty c solenoid and i guess clutch pack.

but if i am not successful, can i simply remove rear axles, and drive car?

No, you cannot drive it with the rear axles or driveshaft disconnected without causing damage. You can insert the FWD fuse in the engine bay to see if the binding goes away.

OK, yes, if putting the FWD fuse in does not solve the problem then it's likely that the Duty C solenoid is bad. Good luck!
