Re: Photoshop request
Personally i'm not fond of them. Part of that is without a doubt that i didn't do a great job photoshop-ing them in. But part of it is that they seem like they aren't from the same time as the car is. Stylistically different.
I don't know how accurate the photo is either. I cropped them out of another photo and tried to retain their aspect ratio. If it's true to the picture of the car, then it appears that they will either have space above and below them or to the left and the right.
Oh, they make look better on one of your cars. It might be the contrast between the white and the black that's throwing it for me.

Re: Photoshop request
And remember, those are curved to fit the second gen cars. And the projectors are the actual fog lights and the other part is a turn assist light. I've actually been thinking about getting a set and trying to put them on my sedan or hold on to them till I get a second gen.

Re: Photoshop request
Won't you have to cut away some of the bumper to get the fog lights fitted?
That being asked, I've got two sets of those fog lights for sale, if anyone is interested. One set doesn't have the mounting brackets, though.

Re: Photoshop request
Yes I would have to and then I would lay fiberglass over so it would look factory. I won't doing this for awhile if at all. Thankyou though.

Re: Photoshop request
Glass doesn't stick very well to plastic, I would plastic weld it.

Ah, fiberglass! Since I'm not a body & fender man, I didn't think about that and neither did I think about plastic welding it.
Reviewing the photoshop pic, I think the foglights are on the wrong side of the car, aren't they? I wonder if originalcyn or someone else could switch the lights around as well as extend the foglights a bit into the bumper toward the outside, they will be in position more accurately and we may all have a better idea of what they would look like.

Re: Photoshop request
So, the round fog light goes on the inside towards the center? Sorry about that.
Also, let me clarify, invert the lights, so the current right light goes on the left and the left light goes on the right. Then move them further away from the center of the car?

Re: Photoshop request
Yes, that's correct!
EDIT -- Well, let me add this: the jdm foglights themselves in the original photoshop pic need to be enlarged sideways; right now they are smaller than actual size horizontal-wise. The original foglight housing area in the bumper will have to be enlarged to the outside for the jdm foglights to fit.
If you want, I can take measurements of the jdm foglights if that will help you to size it to the headlight size to make it look proportional.

Re: Photoshop request
That would help probably. This is what I have now, it's less than stellar by a wide margin.
even if you drew two over lapping boxes labeled original and bd fogs that would help with proportions.

Re: Photoshop request
The ss does look better with the fogs in their proper places; at least to me it does.
I don't have a '90 or '91 Legacy so I won't be able to trace out the shape of the original fog light opening nor the dimensions of the headlight. But the jdm second gen foglight is 11-1/2" wide and 4" high.

Re: Photoshop request
ah, apologies, i just meant a brief sketch with overlapping squares, no dimensions necessary. But in your opinion of that seems close enough we'll just go with that.
Re: Photoshop request
If someone could post the dimensions of the pre-facelift headlight dimensions, the orignialcyn could photoshop it fairly accurately. As a suggestion, please post not only the width of the headlight, but also the height of both the inner and outer edges of the headlight so that both the height and width of the foglight can be put into proper perspective in relation to the headlight.
