91 style hood on 92 thru 94 legacy.

the style of the hoods for legacy's break up should be 89 thru 91all interchange. 92 thru 94 all interchange. To make a hood off a 91 wether OEM, after market or custom fit a 92 thru 94 car. you will need the hood itself ,the grill, headlamps,parking lamps,the fenders w/ the black molding that goes on them(89 thru 91 have bumper mounted front turn signals, while 92 thru 94 have the front turn signals next to the headlamps w/ the extra fender mounted signal above the mud flap in the black molding that runs all the way around the car .) also the 4 inch piece of black molding for the fenders are not interchangable 89 thru 91 the pins are set closer together and there is no hole in the molding but there is one in the fender. 92 thru 94 the pins on the molding are spaced farther apart and it also has the hole for the signal which is almost(slightly bigger) the same size as the hole in the 92 thru 92 fend! ers. the signal clips into the fender itself not into the molding.Front bumpers on all legacy's 89 thru 94 should all interchange you have to watch the black trim on them though some of Ls or Lsi models came w/ grey trim on the bumpers .the bumpers all fit but are different 89 thru 91 have signals in them while 92 thru 94 do not. The parking light difference stands out pretty good 89 thru 91 have an orange square in them while 92 thru 94 are all clear. Hoods are easy to tell 89 thru 91 dip in the middle to meet the grill. 92 thru 94 hoods all run straight across fender to fender. hope all this nonsence helps working for an all subaru parts recycling place helps alot when it comes to stuff like this.
