I've already got the middle and seat belt trim pieces off but I'm a little hesitant to mess with the rear triangular window piece for fear of cracking it or breaking it in half like I did to both middle pieces.
Does this piece of trim even need to be taken off, it looks like I could possibly slide the headliner forward out from there.

The piece of trim, that I'm pointing to in this picture, is what has been holding my headliner hostage. At the tip of my finger you can see where I have already pried on it.
If I don't get a good reply on this I'm going to go through the sunroof sticky and harass everyone who has done it till I get an answer.

open the roof and just pull it out towards the opening. its just a metal spring "U" type "Gasket" type thing. Its what I like to call a "friction" hold device.
