electric power steering pumps

do they make these for our cars? if so i want one, cuz its 100 bucks to replace my pump that just went bad
92 legacy turbo 5spd fwd-12 psi, tm intercooler bov, walbro 255.

81 chevy malibu- 400 sb, holley 600, edelbrock rpm, hooker headers, lunati voodoo cam,4spd muncie, 3:73 posi,monte c. swivel buckets, corvette rally wheels

So you want to replace a cheaper pump with a more expensive one? Why not just buy one at a junkyard?

if i bought it from the junkyard it prolly wouldnt last very long.

ones from a wrecking yard should last a while if in good shape to start with...

Mine was gotten from a junkyard. It's holding up pretty well, but has started to mess up every now and then.....

Back to the original question, do they make electric power steering pumps for Subarus? Is there any benefits froms switching to electric pumps?

I can see no benefits to switching to an electric pump, and it would just make the electrical system work harder. . .
