4 Pot brake kits, STi, and JDM Parts

Post by Legacy294 »

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to let you all know that we have 4 pot Subaru front brake kits available for anyone interested. They include the calipers in black or red, cryo treated, slotted rotors, Ferodo DS 2500 brake pads, and all of the clips.

Also have 2 pot rear kits available as well.

Have great access to many STi and JDM parts new and used. STi 12 or 20KG center diffs, RA Gearsets, front and rear ring and pinions (4:11 or 4:44) , Cusco diffs, lots of other stuff as well..Want a JDM clip, tranny or engine, what Version? DCCD? R180?

Have a special part you are looking for? Let me know, and I can probably get it. Working on many generations of Subies helps expand the parts network.:D

Please post or PM with any questions that you might have..

The STi RA gear sets are from GD ('02 newer) Imprezas and are new. If you are looking for a a different version (pre '02), I can get those new also. Regardless of year, many will interchange anyway..

On the 12kg center diff I'll need to check on price and availibility. Will post or PM you when I find out.

Thanks for the inquiry.

Hi, I'm possibly interested in a jdm clip, depending on price, etc.

Mostly interested in a jdm engine, v7-v8 prefered but those do get expensive, and I'd like to keep costs down, so I'm interested in a v6 as well.

Let me know what you can do for me!

Regards,

Nick

PS- Also interested in EJ22T shortblock :)

Checking on the Ver7-8 clips, as well as a Ver6. The 5-6s are getting hard to find and pretty spendy...Still usually 2k less than a 7/8.

on the EJ22 short block, I have none at the moment. If one comes up, will keep you posted. :D

Four pots have dropped to about +-$750 with stock rotors and pads..

The other kit came with slotted/ vented rotors and Ferodo DS2500 pads.

Re: 4 Pot brake kits, STi, and JDM Parts

Post by ripplesouth »

My car is 1990 Subaru Legacy LS AWD Sedan EJ22

The brakes difficult to throw the brake pedal down fast in an emergency (feels like you are slamming your foot on concrete) and are otherwise squishy or mushy. The car lacks any appreciable braking power. Can you set me up with a major braking system upgrade that would increase braking power on tarmac and improve pedal feel while reducing restriction in the lines?
