Mazda RX7 Turbo II BPV

Post by BXSS »

Has anyone tried using a stock RX7 Turbo II (FC) BPV on a SS?

I saw one the other day & it looks exactly like a SS/EJ20G BPV, but is made of metal (?-aluminum).

I have an Eclipse BPV on my car, but I figured I'd give the Legacy guys a heads up on this part for their projects.

It is made out of aluminum - I saw it when my buddy put it in his scrap aluminum pile to bring to the scrap place.

So what's the benefit of using it? Just stronger and less prone to cracking because it's metal?

+1 metal is usually stronger than plastic.
