RCKSTRs 91 SS build thread

Hello all,

A few months ago I picked up a 91 SS from someone in Mass. I first had picked it up as a fun winter beater and leave it as is but I've had a change of heart and would like to see what this ol'2.2T can do!!

I got it with a few diy mods allready. Its got a saab sidemount intercooler up top and also a not-so-stock turbo back on it.... modded stock down pipe with highflow cat and a decent muffler with a turndown tip. As far as I can tell thats about it...

My plans with the car are to REALLY push the stock motor with just boltons and see what it can do! and in the mean time I'll be building the 2.2T that I picked up as a complete motor (including the full bulkhead harness and ecu).
So far I've purchased a PP6 from a fellow member on here and I'm picking up a 18g from a buddy! Supporting mods will be oem sti sidefeeds, na rails, walbro FP, boost controller, fmic, ect...

and a few parts I've got laying around that will be going on are 02 bugeye seats and 06 LGT wheels...

RCKSTR, looks like a great build opportunity! I am looking forward to hearing more updates on the build. Good luck with everything! Sometimes I wish I had a turbo model.

Is that an 04/05 WRX or STi you have there?

will do, just got word that my PP6 should be shipped out mondayish and I'll be going over to my buds place pretty soon to see if his used 18g is worth picking up...
And I'll finally be able to register the car this week... I hope. works been holding me up from going to the DMV.
I have to look into all the wright-ups on this site, soo much to learn about these leggys :-)

haha funny I almost bought this car lol, you get it for $1700?? I just got myself a 93 SS, Funny also how I have an 04 Impreza and I believe you also have a 240sx too lol

I hear you on the learning curve for the SS, this car is a different beast than a WRX for sure!!

just noticed you are getting 06 leggy rims, let me know if you want to get rid of those snowflake rims!
