Swapped the seat belt buckle wiring from the 91 to 93 so the beeper will shut up when I buckle up. Also swapped the little metal piece on my engine cover with one from a turbo engine cover. The turbo engine cover was pretty beat so I decided to switch the part that actually says turbo.

Hey Grayguy are you selling that stuff for scrap metal? You could make a good chunk of change at the recycler.

Keep forgetting to mention one teeny little thing.. Headlight project started!! And already about 30% done! :D Gonna have to get a new H.I.D kit for the projectors though, I might have ruined one of the bulbs and one of the ballasts has an issue. So new H.I.D kit will be ordered before I hack up my stock lights, probably going for 6000k as thats the closest to a pure white.

Headlights need polishing and my buddy works at a glass shop that also apparently offers some kind of headlight treatment.

Fancy. I had a lot of trouble finding a locksmith who'd do it. I haven't tried the dealerships yet.

If you have the original key it should have the key code etched in it. Have the dealer cut the key based on the key code. That way you're not getting a copy of a worn key.

Painted some interior trim flat black. More to paint tomorrow. Also, sprayed undercoating on the door sills, since those will see foot traffic compaired to the window trim.

They wouldn't do it for me. Had to go to a locksmith to have it done and I had to pull my lock cylinder to get the code.

Finished painting most of the interior trim, haven't pulled the trim around the rear side windows so that is still tan. So far, I've used six cans of paint and I'm sure I'll need two or three more for the last pieces of trim. No pictures yet since some of the parts are still drying. Also, discovered the right rear speaker is coming apart.. :(

I never really bothered to investigate further, but I was under strict orders not to cut STi keys at my old Subaru dealership because they were supposedly steel (instead of brass like most other keys), and they would ruin the key-cutting machine.

Just paint, this is just to get rid of the tan stuff. I still intend to replace the painted stuff with factory grey parts. Kinda a spur of the moment decision to start painting since the tan looked so bad next to the grey dash, seats, and door panels.

my brother bought an STi key and took it to get cut and for some reason he couldn't so he just ended up selling it. That could very well be the reason

Some pictures of the painted interior trim installed. The rear seat is out cause I ran out of paint before I finished the left rear window trim.

These have undercoating on them and paint over the undercoating. Reason for the undercoating, the door sills will see the most abuse out of all the trim bits. I knew that the paint would just get scratched, chipped, and then flake off where as the undercoating should be much more resistant to scratching, chipping, and flaking off.

Been slowly picking away at the headlights too.

Does anyone know if the H.I.D bulb is bad since the blue thing(circled in red) that parallels the bulb is cracked? The wire inside the blue thing is fine, just the ceramic(I think) is broken.

Yes, that is a railroad spike hanging by a chain in the background.
